L'oreal Repair 5 Restoring Hair Care Line

Hello fellow beauty girls! I finally gave up on my cheap Suave shampoo and conditioner and bought the L'oreal Repair 5 Restoring line. Don't get me wrong, I love my Suave, but it wasn't doing much for the condition of my hair. After years of heat styling and not knowing how to take care of my hair, I figured trying this line out wouldn't hurt, plus I had tried free samples that they were handing out at the State Fair and I loved how soft it made my hair. 

I've been using this line for a good month or so now and after a second time of buying the shampoo and conditioner and cutting 3 inches of slightly damaged hair off, my hair feels and looks incredible. 

All of my life I've had soft, shiny hair, but not as soft and shiny as when I use this! I get lots of complements on how healthy and beautiful my hair looks since I've started using this product, and it's not just family and friends noticing it. People in public comment on it too! 

I use their damage repair balm once a week, concentrating it on my ends and then working it up to my roots. I have really oily hair and it hasn't affected the oiliness at all. Honestly I think it has helped control it a little bit!

My hair always feels super moisturized and I never feel like my hair is stripped of the natural oils or anything. Overall I love this product and people I recommend it to absolutely love it! Its a great product and it sure makes your hair feel and look super soft and healthy! I couldn't tell you if it reverses damage or not but your hair will sure feel nice!

Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz Serum

Hello fellow beauty lovers! It's been so long since I've written a beauty post, but I figured since I went out and bought (yet another bottle of this) my Garnier Fructis hair serum, I would write my review of it. I've used this product for who knows how long. It's been probably a good 3/4 years! I started using this product because I have really frizzy, naturally curly hair and I went through that 8th grade phase where I needed to have my hair pin straight and sleeked down so there was no volume (we all know we've gone through that stage). Well this sure did help to make it sleek! Now I use it to tame my frizz, but no more of that awful, heat damaged, pin straight hair.

I use this every night after I shower and put a good nickle to quarter size in my hair and blow dry it. It makes it super soft and shiny and I cannot describe to you how AMAZING the scent is. It doesn't last, but every time I put this in one of my friends hair, they always ask what that smell is! It's a super light oil/serum and even if I think I put wayyy to much in my hair, it always absorbs over night and it feels like silk. I've used it on the finest of hair and on the thickest, and I haven't seen an issue with it weighing down their hair and I can do anything with it!

If you are looking for a light serum that will make your hair look shiny and healthy and is manageable, this will be the one for you!!

Elf Clarifying Pressed Powder Review

Hey there lovely ladies! I just recently broke the last of my Clinique Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed powder (which costs $23 *gasp*) and I was heartbroken. I loved that stuff and it has lasted me since June! So I needed a new powder product and I happened to be at Walmart. On a whim, I decided to try Elf's Clarifying Pressed powder which was only a dollar. 1 dollar!! I figured if I didn't like it much, it wouldn't be too much of a problem because it was so cheap and I've always wanted to see if Elf could meet my expectations. I have to say I don't have very high expectations, and I've literally tried so many cheap powders and the Clinique one was my first, you could say, Luxury powder I've ever tried. This little bugger met and exceeded my expectations! I have really oily skin and it gives it enough shine so it doesn't look like I'm dry, but it doesn't leave me still looking like I just slathered my face with oil! Honestly, I wish it didn't have salicylic acid in it though. My skin has been breaking out lately, but that started before I got this powder, but it sure isn't helping! If your skin isn't sensitive to salicylic acid, it is amazing and is very sheer and it doesn't cake whatsoever.

Mascara Review

Hey guys! So this will be my first post and I'm going to be reviewing three mascaras that I have tried recently! Two of which are samples!

The first mascara I tried was the High Impact Waterproof mascara by Clinique! I got it as a sample and I ended up liking it a lot. I wasn't so sure of it at first because it was so different from the normal mascaras I typically get. Typically they are super heavy and volumizing, but this one was super light and easy to remove. It didn't flake, or give me raccoon eyes. I just ended up with these natural, but better than the original, looking eyelashes! If you really like a lengthened and slightly volumized look, I would definitely recommend this to you. It is around 16 dollars, so it is on the cheaper side of the high-end mascaras.
                         

Alright for the next one, I got a sample of They're Real Mascara and I loved this one too much to handle. I actually have my first job now so I can buy this mascara if I would like, but this was my first high-end mascara I had ever used and I thought I was so spoiled and quite honestly, I was. This mascara is really amazing at getting every single lash and really making them super volumized and long. The first time I tried it, I thought it was okay, but after I used it the second time, I fell in love! I've been savoring the last little bit this last month and it is one of my all time favorites. It has like a little spiked tip, that really helps get the inner and outer corners of the eye covered. Overall, I think this is a great product, and it is about 23 dollars, so it is a bit more expensive than the Clinique, but it give a lot more fake eyelash look to the eyelashes.

Alright for the last one, The Rocket! This is my only drugstore mascara on this post, but I really like it. It most definitely has some pros and cons, but for the price, I think it is worth it! The reason I really liked this mascara was because of the plastic bristled brush. I like how it separates each eye lash, while still giving length and volume. I love the fact that you can add multiple layers and not have it clump. It does a great job at giving you false-looking lashes. The only problem with this, is that it is EXTREMELY hard to take off. I've found that my dove bar soap takes it off very well in the shower, but any other way (except for make up remover) doesn't take it off very well. This one is around 6 dollars, so it is the cheapest one here! If you want to buy this mascara, I would go for the non-waterproof one, as long as your eyelids don't get too oily!

All of these mascaras are waterproof because I get super oily eye lids during the day, along with having really bad allergies that make my eyes water, and the fact that I am super sensitive and am most likely to cry and small things.
